From the Post and Telegraph Quarterly Guide, just published, we take the following notices of alterations:—
Post Offices Closed. Earlton, near Cooktown; Koumala, near Mackay (now R. O.); Pilton, near Clifton (now R. O.).
Receiving Offices Opened. Arcadia Downs, near Rolleston; Belmore, near Croydon; Bondoola, near Rockhampton; Boonara, near Kilkivan; Butcher's Hill, near Cooktown; Coleyville, near Harrisville; Deception Bay, near Redcliffe; Donaldson, near Cloncurry; Fair Creek, near Roma; Flinders-street, Townsville; Hunchy, near Woombye; Koumala, near Mackay (formerly P. 0.); Kunioon, near Nanango, Laton Vale, near Woombye; Pilton, near Clifton (formerly P. 0.); Pinkenba, near Brisbane; Powder Magazine, near Townsville; Quinalow, near Jondaryan; Russell Park, near Surat; Westfield, near Winton; Woodbury, near Rockhampton.

Post office at Kilcoy now known as Hopetown. Letterbox at Spring's, Woolloongabba, is closed.

Chinchilla - Durah, by horse, once a week; Jondaryan - Quinalow, by horse, once a week; Kernell - Electra School, by horse, twice a week; Nurangba - Deception Bay, by horse, twice a week; North Killarney - The Head, by horse, once a week; Roma - Fair Creek, by horse, once a week ; Stockyard Creek - Rockmount, by horse, twice a week; Wilson's Downfall - River tree, by coach, twice a week; Woombye - Luton Vale, by horse, once a week.
Services Discontinued.  Fairyland - Durah; Helenvale - Tableland; Jondaryan -West Prairie; Joyce's - Mount Amos; Myalo - Biboohra.
